WHAT IS SSÄM? Ssäm is a traditional way of eating meat in Korea. Loosley translated it means a wrap. Koreans tend to enjoy eating meat wrapped in leaf lettuce and other leafy vegetables with garlic and ssäm jang (spicy Korean miso dip), which is great for your digestion and you get a unique blend of textures and flavors in one bite. Ordering ssäm will get you green leaf lettuce hearts, fried whole garlic cloves, Korean long green peppers and ssäm jang. Using hand to make your wrap is necessary so please wash your hands. |
